Queer Gothic Words

Sun 22 March @ 12:15 pm 2:00 pm

An illustration of a gothic window, bookshelf and scaredlooking Dr Frankenstein. From the 1813 edition of Frankenstein by Mary Shelley.

A monthly book club focusing on queer gothic writing. Every month we choose a book (or selection of shorter texts) by LGBTQ+ authors, or featuring queer characters/themes to read and discuss together. We alternate between classic and contemporary texts.

In March, we’re discussing haunted houses in literature. No need to prepare anything in advance – just turn up and join the discussion.
