Gay Scotland Now Collage Workshop at Edinburgh Zine Fair

Sat 1 November @ 3:00 pm 4:00 pm

Join Lavender Menace for a free and fun collage workshop remixing text and images from Gay Scotland. Gay Scotland was a staple of the Scottish queer scene when it was published in the 1980s-2000s. Explore LGBT events, adverts, articles, and classifieds from the past and remix them to reflect what Scotland means to queer communities now.

No need to bring anything – we have materials and photocopies of vintage queer magazines.

Lavender Menace is a community archive with roots in Scotland’s first LGBT+ bookshop. We have a mission to bring together the queer community in Edinburgh and beyond, celebrate LGBT+ authors and their works, and collect and preserve LGBT+ books. lavendermenace.org.uk

This event is free.
